Box Compression Test
It helps determine stacking strength and suitability for palletized storage. This test ensures boxes won’t collapse under the weight of other boxes during transportation or warehousing.
Burst Strength Test
It indicates resistance to internal pressure from the packed contents. This test is relevant for products that might exert force on the box from within, like heavy or sharp objects.
Edge Crush Test
It assesses the box’s ability to withstand vertical compression during handling and transportation. This test is crucial for boxes that are frequently lifted, moved, or stored vertically.
GSM Test
It provides an indication of the overall thickness and strength of the cardboard. Higher GSM typically translates to a stronger board, but it’s important to consider the specific application and balance cost with performance.
